Our Hospice Nurses are specially trained to give personalized, compassionate care to each family member. We will come to your home, care center, hospice facility, or an other location, and provide you will all the care you need during your passing days including, but not limited to:

At Silver Crest Hospice, our nursing aides focus on providing the best care through a large variety of services to our patients and their families. Overseen by our Director of Nursing, Kelsie Allen, and following a Plan of Care ordered by the interdisciplinary team and doctor. Our Hospice Aides provide more personal and comfort focused care. They provide an extended solace and support for our patients and their families. Offering a wide range of services including, but not limited to:

• Showering, Bathing, or Bed Bathing
• Skin Care
• Dressing
• Hair Care
• Dental Care
• Incontinence Care and Toileting
• Foley Catheter Care, Transferring and Re-positioning
• Massage

• Experienced Assistance with local resources – Silver Crest will help to alleviate your burdens during this time by providing you with the support you and your loved ones need including Legal Aid, Funeral Planning, Community Resources, Bereavement Support, Grief Counseling, and more.
• Emotional Assistance – Identifying emotional needs and providing support, bridging family gaps and bringing loved ones together.
• Medical Assistance – Helping assure that you and your family’s wishes are met, assisting with Advanced Directives and Physician Orders for life-sustaining treatments, helping with insurance and Medicare paperwork.
• Practical Planning – Assisting with funeral planning, contacting local agencies, and accessing community resources.

Custom grieving processes. Grief and Bereavement are highly individualized – no two people experience them in the exact same way. Silver Crest Hospice will work diligently to provide you and your loved ones with the services you need precisely when you need them. We know that grief and bereavement can begin even before a loved one passes and can extend for quite some time after they have passed. Our attention and care during this process of passing is something we take very seriously. We offer Grief and Bereavement Support to the Families, Friends, and Staff while a patient is under our care and for up to 1+ years after your loved one has passed. We are also available to talk anytime during special anniversaries and birthdays that are understandably difficult to handle as well.
